Take a Simulated Test Flight

(Not operational until late October 2019).

MSA

To start the test flight, enter the Longitude and Latitude anywhere in the Continental United States, Hawaii, or portion of Alaska. Alaska is covered only near Anchorage and Fairbanks.

Longitude: Use only degrees and minutes. Seconds not needed. Sample: 117.25 (Spokane WA)

Latitude: Use only degrees and minutes. Seconds not needed. Sample: 47.39 (Spokane WA)

Ground Speed

True Heading Used only for the test flight. AMSADD APP will compute ground track and speed of aircraft from GPS

Enroute Altitude Do not use a comma, use whole number.
Sample: 7500 or 35000.
(Used only for the test flight. AMSADD APP will have altitude input from GPS).

You may change any entries once airborne.
